The location of Le Méridien Seoul Myeongdong is amazing if you are wanting to stay in the Myeongdong district (it is literally situated at the end of the Myeongdong Street). You just need to step outside of the hotel and are within metres of hundreds of shops and restaurants. Easy access to the subway too if you want to venture further out. We definitely recommend booking your room with the Club Lounge inclusion as that allows you access to their breakfast buffet (6:30am to 10am), all day snacks + tea/coffee, evening Hors d'oeuvres (which is more like a dinner buffet) (6pm to 8pm) and (the best thing ever) bottomless / help yourself alcohol bar that is stocked up premium wines, soju and other hard liquors (6pm to 9pm). Our flight out of Seoul wasn't til late the day we checked out and as we had access to the Club Lounge, we were able to stay there and kill a few hours which was great. Staff were super helpful, friendly and attentive.

    The Korean crafts part (upstairs in one of the buildings) has quite a lot of souvenirs for cheaper prices than elsewhere. Look around as prices vary there too. There are a few artists/craftmen who sell there productions. There's a section for kitchenware next to it.

    I love the location, its kinda in between Myeongdong shopping district and Namdaemun Market. Very good location and central. We travelled as family of four. Love the room, 2 single beds and 1 double bed, amazing view from the room windows. Staff are great 👍 room is very clean, fresh towel daily. Fresh slippers daily too.

    The location of Fraser Place Namdaemun is excellent. City Hall station is just down the street, Namdaemun market is across the road and it’s not overrun by noisy tourists. This is my second stay here and I plan to come back next year.

    The staff were very nice and helped me and my friend out when only one of us had arrived in time due to delays. They were very understanding and even let my friend check in without paying the deposit as she was not in possession of a credit card at that time. Moreover, the rooms and the location are perfect. It does take about 5-10 minutes to get to the metro, but Namdaemun Market and Myeongdong are both in walkable distances.

    The staff was amazing - super friendly and helpful, the location was amazing, Myeongdong is right around the corner, Namdaemun Market is also right beside the hotel.
