We loved the accommodation, with a beautiful terrace at the front overlooking nature and the sunset. The owner was helpful in arranging a safari and for advising restaurants in the neighbourhood for take away (so we could it with the beautiful view). The sanitaire was clean.

With pool views, Tranquil Wild is located in Tanamalwila and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.

Right from the time, we booked the room , we got prompt response each time. The service and facilities were excellent. We had a relaxing time there. The food was excellent. The safari they arranged to block 5 and 6 was also very good.We saw many animals there including leopard.Highly recommended

The food was outstanding - the best we had in Sri Lanka! The staff were welcoming and attentive - nothing was too much trouble for the butler, Mogu. The accommodation is outstanding - private, comfortable, impecable. We went on four half-day safaris, including one to block 1 and one to Bundalla, and had an incredible time. It was the highlight of our two week Sri Lankan holiday. Our guide, Kithmee, was a pleasure to spend time with. She was knowledgable, passionate and personable. She took time to get to know us, our interests and priorities, and our other experiences in Sri Lanka. Then she worked hard to optimise and customise our experience. She was so genuinely excited for us when we got to see the animals on our bucket list - and we got to see them all.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host is super friendly and helpful. When we arrived the host offered bikes to explore the area. We cycled around the lake, 100% recommended if you visit this place. The host also booked our trip to Yala National Park, for which she gave several options. The room was very clean and has everything you need. The location is very quiet, except for the river! However you do not hear the river from the room, and outside you can enjoy its soothing nature sound! Thank you Mithila!

So far the best stay in Sri Lanka. It is a basic accommodation in the middle of the nature. The host and her husband spent more than 1 our with us searching for sleeping birds. I got some great shots. They searched with us in a book for the names of all the birds. Sunrise is stunning to watch right out of the balcony. You can walk around the lake and see so many birds, crocodiles etc. Just the people on the street who wants to offer you a guided tour where a bit annoying, but this has nothing to do with the accommodation. The food was excellent and the prices reasonable.
