A relatively sheltered spot that's perfect for swimming, Tahunanui is Nelson City's most popular beach. For families, the stretch has its own park, complete with bumper boats, mini golf and go-karts. It's also home to the Natureland petting zoo, where little ones can discover and interact with a variety of animals, such as Kuni Kuni pigs, deer and monkeys.
