This museum is housed in a 14th-century castle that was once the home of Nicolaus Copernicus. One of his original astronomical tables still adorns the walls, while a permanent exhibition recalls the star-gazer’s life and times. Other wide-ranging collections revolve around everything from 16th-century Russian Orthodox icon paintings to regional textiles and ceramics.
