It looks like a Tang Dynasty-era temple but Chinatown’s Buddhist house of worship was only consecrated in 2008. Part working temple, part museum, it’s named after the relic that resides within its sacred chambers – the left-canine tooth of Buddha. Head to the fourth-floor viewing area to see monks gather and chant around the large, lavish gold shrine that houses the enamelled antiquity.
