Beautifull well kept quiet little hotel right by the sea in Saladan. Lovely clean room with a super comfy bed and great little bathroom. Warm water with good water pressure in the shower. Lots of lovely towels. Bottled water appeared in my fridge room cleaned every day and the rubbish removed. I loved the balconey where i sat mornings and evenings looking at the sea and the little park where there was a toucan bird in the palm tree. The owners are so friendly and caring. I was made to feel so welcome. There is a real attention to detail which gives Lanta MP Place a very cosey feel. The owner has a great concept with his little coffee bar and moped rental. I even was served small Thai treats in the mornings with my coffee ...coconut sticky rice and sticky rice with jack fruit was realy a delicious little extra. You can even borrow books from the little library beside the coffee bar. The hotel is very near to all the action in Saladan...walking street and street food and many good fish restaurants. Can recommend the Sea Sand Soul restaurant which is just over the park from the hotel and right on the seafront. Even though the hotel is within walking distance to everything including ferry pier it is also in a very quiet secluded spot with no traffic to speak of. I loved eveything especially the owners and would definately return.

We travel as backpackers and as a couple. We just loved it here. The staff is so nice and they do their best to help you! There were only three more guests staying in Cicada Lanta and only us having booked the stay with breakfast, so they opened their kitchen every morning only for us. Very cute! We even booked two more nights, as we felt so comfortable and on ease. The huts are very basic. You'll find everything you need. They are exactly how they look on the pictures and it's very clean. I loved it that the huts are made of wood. And there are so many handmade details everywhere - absolutely fantastic. We do have enough concrete at home. So this just fits so much better! I also love how they created the garden area. We would often sit on our little porch in front of the huts and enjoy the garden or do Yoga. I really don't like all these big resorts coming up. So if you look for a more authentic place but still kind of like to have it clean and nice: This is the place to stay! 🫶🏽

The best Host we had in the whole of Thailand. Superkind.. Booked all things through him from motorbike to Island tours and so on. Good advise on food , beaches activities. Even brought us to our ferry the morning we left! Would definitely recommend..

    Perfect beach close to pool area. Nice and clean pool. Very sweet and nice people working there. Helpful and nice, without being too much. Calm atmosphere, a beatufull and peaceful place. Short tiktok-ride from Saladan Pier, and many restaurants on the beach.

    Great location, nice beach and really good overall stay. Room was clean and very spacious, bed was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Staff helped organise collection from Saladan Pier and transfer to Krabi. Mopeds available to hire on site and various local places to do laundry for THB 50/kg which were great.

    We got a brand new room with a panoramic window at the forest. The bed was very comfortable, water was hot and the AC worked perfectly. The hosts were extremely kind, helping us in every way we needed. They even provided taxi from and to Saladan pier. Every morning we got a little sweet local breakfast snack which was really a nice surprise! Next door is a nice restaurant with good food and cheap rent for motorcycle. It’s also close to a mini market shop and 2 minute walk to the perfect beach. Totally recommend!

    The location is perfect - less than 100 metres from Saladan Pier which connects Koh Lanta with other major locations including Phuket and Phi Phi. The vibe of the property was good too, especially for the price of the property. The hosts were helpful and they’ve created a very cosy environment for their guests.
