This ancient city lies on a landscape sculpted by calcium-rich hot springs, overlooking mineral forests, petrified waterfalls and pastel-shaded travertines from a height of 200 metres. The ruins date back to the 2nd century BC, when the kings of Pergamon built the thermal spa. You’ll find Greek baths, temples, and crumbling monuments throughout the fascinating site.
