The relaxed atmosphere and convenient location set this hotel apart. Situated close to all major attractions, in an area that felt very safe, with plenty of choice locally for dinner. What sets Zoe apart is their very friendly and extremely helpful staff, who were happy to go above and beyond every time. A delicious breakfast featuring fresh fruit, juices, scrummy fresh pastries that changed every day. A sound environmental policy that included a large bottle of water in the fridge in the room that could be refilled in the breakfast room. Leo the reception cat was the icing on this fabulous cake!

We recently stayed at Hotel Tria, and it was fantastic! From the elegant ambience to the welcoming staff, everything was perfect. Our room was modern, cosy, and impeccably clean. The restaurant offered delicious, locally-inspired dishes, all served with attentive service. Nice views from the rooftop as well. What truly set Hotel Tria apart was the exceptional customer service—every staff member was friendly and accommodating. They kindly upgraded us and gifted a bracelet, which was a lovely touch. We highly recommend Hotel Tria for a luxurious getaway and can’t wait to return!

Hagia Sophia

In 537 AD, Hagia Sophia began life as a church, before becoming an Ottoman mosque in 1453. The largest cathedral in the world for almost a thousand years, this majestic building is considered one of the finest surviving examples of Byzantine architecture. Today, you can explore its vast structure from the inside with a visit to the museum that’s now housed within the walls.

Not worth the money to go! Very dissapointing. Also they try to swindle you & upsell on the ticket price from €25 to €50, so you end up paying double for a less than mediocre experience. Avoid at all cost.

Queues, Queues and more queues. But worth it. Do not bother with the AR experience which costs an extra 1250 TL (£25) each. The entrance is roughly £25 to get in if you buy it at the ticket office, make sure you ask for the basic tour otherwise they include the AR experience as a default. Amazing mosaics and beautiful architecture.

This greekorthodox monument, one of the greatest for the christianity worldwide, is questionably managed by the modern Turkish state, after it was recently converted to a mosque (since there are so many of them, I really wonder why) The entrance for the tourists is allowed only at the 2nd floor, missing that way, an amazing perspective of this exceptional temple, that you can have only from the ground floor. You simply get half the pleasure! At least, you can have a glance of the unique mosaics covered by white pieces of cloth, due to religious restrictions. Anyway, don't miss it!

Sadly tourists can only go around the upper level. Previously you could get in on the ground floor and experience the wonderful open space of the huge dome above you. It is still possible to see some of the dome and the structure is very interesting but a slight disappointment. However , it is an amazing old structure. Small number of mosaics still visible. Better and more extensive mosaics at the Kariye Camii if mosaics are of interest.

This was the most incredible part of Istanbul.

This was the most incredible part of Istanbul. Again ensure proper attire or you have to pay for covering. The interplay of Christianity and the Muslim faith, and neither chose to desicrate the other. Just be aware that you will only be able to visit the upper section unless you're a practising muslim.

The hotel is a small, charming family hotel, quite secure, and the owner was constantly attentive to our needs. The room had everything we needed. It's a beautiful, clean, and very comfortable hotel, located just 5-8 minutes from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast; the hotel rooms are lovely and spacious, with a wonderful view from the balcony while having breakfast. You'll find many cafes and restaurants nearby, and the Wi-Fi is good. Highly recommended.

A small hotel (but surprisingly, with an elevator) in an excellent location (perfect for exploring the most interesting, historical part of Istanbul). The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are varied. The view from the dining room during breakfast is worth every penny – the hotel is not only situated between the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, but also offers the unique opportunity to gaze simultaneously at Europe and Asia, along with ships sailing on the Bosphorus, while sipping your morning coffee.

Lovely small hotel. The rooms are very comfy and super cute. Friendly staff. Finding the hotel is tricky since it's tucked at the end of an alley within another alley. However, once you locate it, it's very close to the underground cistern, the Great Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque. On the upper street after hiking the stairs, there are restaurants, souvenir stores, and grocery stores. Go to the right, then go down the long street, and you will end up at the Blue Mosque.

The Hotel is situated in almost the very center of Stambul around 300 m to Hagia Sophia and basically over the Basilica Cistern. It is small, but the luxurious interiors make up for it. The breakfast was very simple, but I didn't mind especially since most of the time it looked like I was the only visitor. The room was cleaned everyday, and fresh bottls of water were added to the freezer. Overall time well spend with variety of tourists locations in the close proximirty. Highly recommend!
