BrazilGreat host, comfortable beds and super close to Kruger's gate. The room was spacious, had aircon and a kitchen, which was very useful for us. It's located in a very safe neighborhood with lots of beautiful trees around. It's perfect for those arriving after the gate closure. We left at 5 am to get in the park early and our host had some fruits and breakfast arranged for us to take with us. 100% recommend it.

The host Christine was lovely, and gave us some lovely dinner recommendations in the near. We ate a lovely meal at the hotel one night which was also super and the breakfast which is included kept us full for our days adventure. They offered us a bottle of Champagne and Chocolates as we celebrated a special occasion and we could enjoy it on the balcony while watching the elephants at the river.

Excellent gate to enter Kruger Park.
Excellent gate to enter Kruger Park. Nice places to stay should you need to outside the park. Can get out of the car on the bridge . Ensure car is locked before going into the reception and valuables not seen.

We came back to this property right on the bank of Crocodile River over looking Kruger National Park. We had some elephants crossing the river in the afternoon, coming to visit us, just amazing. Great breakfast, great location very near to Malelane gate.

Just perfect. Minutes away from Malelane gate. Rooms are spotlessly clean and comfy. Huge TV with DSTV. Kettle and fridge. Very quiet when we were there. Very secure parking.

The chalet was well equipped, clean and has good quality fittings and furnishings.
The view of the river and looking over to the Kruger Park.
It was comfortable and had everything we needed.
It is a short drive to the Malelane Gate so we could go in to the Kruger early, spend the morning, come back for a nap and go back in for an afternoon drive too.

A beautifully equipped apartment with even more wonderful hosts.
Everything was perfect – from cleanliness and comfort to the warm hospitality.
A score of 10 simply isn’t enough for such an outstanding stay.
The location is excellent – just a few minutes from Malelane Gate, perfect for visiting Kruger National Park.
We’d happily come back anytime!

The staff went out of their way for us especially to make sure our dietary requirements of halal food was met. Very friendly and helpful staff working . The location is perfect and extremely close to the Malelane gate . The grounds of the hotel is extremely scenic and beautiful. Lovely atmosphere

We came late at night and were welcomed to the room immediately. The hotel is located 10 minutes away from Malelane gate and right on the river bank. We saw animals early morning.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. The apartment is clean and spacious .Tea and Coffee stations with daily cookies is a great spoil. Daily water bottles in the fridge is a plus point. The Sugar Train Restaurant food is the best.Lodge is close to the Malelane Gate to enter the Kruger National Park.

We loved our stay at River House Lodge. All the staff was great, super available and kind. They took care of scheduling the game drives for us, which was incredibly helpful. The food at dinner was great!
The viewing deck is beautiful, and the hotel is very close to Malelane Gate.

Spacious and self catering place with an awesome Gas Barbecue grill on the deck.This place exceeded my expectations and is on the top of list of best stays ever,the place is very big and clean.The aesthetic Apartment design was on point.
