Friendly staff. Onsite meals were exceptionally good. Very close to the falls. Wish we had stayed a couple of more nights and gone to Chobe park instead of just the falls. Next time!

The hotel manger Vimbai and her staff were so attentive. When we told them we didn’t need rooms to be cleaned on some days, they made it a point to ask if they can give us water n clean towels when we come back from our daytime activities. The hotel is very new so it is clean and modern. My husband said their bed and pillows are the best we’ve slept on in hotels! The buffet breakfast spread is also very good and it is so centrally located. 2 mins by cab or 5 min walk to closest big supermarket and 5-8 mins walk to city center

Everything was perfect. Amenities, decor, rooms and all tasty meals served on patios with views on the luscious garden that stole my heart! How ever, the trump card of Pioneers is the well trained, efficient staff who carry you on their hands from the moment you arrive. Batonka is a beautiful, tranquil guest house located just outside the centre of Victoria Falls with easy access to the Falls and airport. The staff are very welcoming, happy and informative, rooms are fantastic, spacious, clean and very comfortable, pool is lovely and grounds beautiful. I would happily recommend Batonka as a 1st class place to stay.

    Our visit to Victoria Falls was absolutely wonderful. The breathtaking Falls were the highlight, offering unforgettable views that left us in awe. We loved exploring favorite spots like the vibrant local markets and the serene viewpoints around the falls. Dining was a delight, with standout meals at Three Monkey's and the Social Restaurant, where the food was consistently amazing. Getting around Victoria Falls was easy and convenient, making it simple to explore different areas. One of the most memorable experiences was seeing elephants casually walking through the streets, adding to the charming and authentic cultural vibe. The kindness of the people and the rich, beautiful culture truly made our trip special. There were plenty of fun group activities as well, perfect for friends seeking adventure and relaxation together.

    I really enjoyed the walking tour of Victoria Falls where...

    I really enjoyed the walking tour of Victoria Falls where the local guide gave us alot of interesting information. The late afternoon river cruise on the Zambizi River was amazing! The town was spread over a wider area than I expected.

    Everything that I've planned was just worth the trip!!

    Everything that I've planned was just worth the trip!! We couldn't cross the bridge by lack of ti.e bit overflew the falls by helicopter. Will definitely be back for the chobe safari which was the highlight of our stay even though it was a long drive and exhausting trip. The boma is a very touristic restaurant but food was nice and the shows worth the experience. The sundowner boat trip was another great experience!!! We're definitely looking forward to going back!!

    Loved... Full day tour with Falls walk lunch at Baines overlooking the Zambese River, sunset cruise, Boma dinner and drumming. Helicopter flight over the Falls Full day to Chobe Nat.Park Devils Pool experience. Enjoyed eating at The Three Monkeys and Mahula

    We visited the Falls in dry season so a little less active.

    We visited the Falls in dry season so a little less active. A lot of fun excursions for nature and safari also available. Pay attention to temps and humidity. If you choose to check out Zambia, I would consider booking a tour company. A long walk plus taxi otherwise.

    The falls are breathtaking, the activities in the area are...

    The falls are breathtaking, the activities in the area are numerous. The shopping is interesting, nice places to eat, we really liked ‘the 3 monkeys’, great pizza. Lovely people and it felt safe during the day. Got over the painful harassment at the markets and up and down the street. The heat is exhausting.
