Beautiful lodge with absolutely stunning gardens filled with deliciously smelling flowers and odorant blossom trees and avocado trees - thus also full of colibris and even quetzals. Paradise in the cloudforest! All staff go out of their way for guests and are extremely professionnal, courteous and kind. On a rainy and chilly night we came back to hot water bottles on our beds and appreciated the attention so much. A special mention should be given to the landscaping and gardening staff thanks to whom the place is such an Eden. I hope they get regular raises! Rooms were comfy and spotlessly clean, the breakfast delicious and plentiful and the other meals we took there were also excellent. The café also has some lovely choices.

A small, but cozy cabin. The heater kept us toasty and the blankets on the bed are super warm. The shower is hot. There is a coffee maker. Ana is very friendly and helpful. The cabins are opposite a cafe and next to a pizza restaurant. The spare single bed was a great place to put our stuff.

The location of the property is excellent, located right at the river. It is very clean and the bed is super comfortable. If we had known, we would have stayed longer.

The hotel had the most wonderful surroundings, stunning mountains and beautifully cared for gardens. Guesthouse EYA was one of our most unique and memorable experiences in Costa Rica. The property is located in a rural community accessible by a gravel road (4x4 highly recommended). Juri and Estevan run a small sustainable farm and offer a cabin with a comfortable bed, private bathroom and terrace. They also offer a variety of tours in the area and on the farm itself. We booked the chocolate tour, which was fascinating and very engaging. Estevan is very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and is also a great wine/chocolate maker. We also enjoyed fantastic breakfasts, lunches and dinners. We would highly recomm end Eya if your looking for a comfortable bed in the Garden of Eden off the beaten track. Thank you Estavan and Yuri for a wonderful experience!

This was our last stop of a 3-week round trip and a great stop it was. Temperatures are cool at night, chalets are cosy and the showers are warm in the morning (not a given in Costa Rica). The restaurant is exceptional combined with great wines. Great value for money! Including the restaurant.
