The host offered us a bigger apartment for the same price, so a big thank you and 10/10. The apartment had a private big kitchen with dinner table, stove and oven , fridge and all needed equipment for cooking. Bedroom was equipped with electric radiator. The furniture is a bit old but all functional. Basically the whole place is not modern and some areas require renovation, but its definitely good value for money.

We stayed here as a family of 4 - parents and teenage boys. We had 2 excellent rooms. The home was lovely, including the rooms and the social space downstairs- the breakfast area and the awesome honesty bar, plus the outdoor space. The breakfast was excellent and very generous, including fresh homemade soda bread and cakes! Best of all, the hosts live next door and are a lovely Irish / Slovak family. They were very friendly and always happy to advise on activities and places to go. That was greatly appreciated and really helped us to make the most of our time. The local area has beautiful countryside and walks, plus places like huge caves (amazing) and you can get a cable car up Chopok mountain for an excellent walk on the top.

The apartment was in a great location for skiing. Only 100m from one of the slopes, you can join on there and ski down to the Lucky skilift. Facilities are great, there is a ski room to dry off equipment and has a pool table. The host was very helpful allowed us to still have access to the ski room after we checked out to leave our bags and get one more day skiing before we had to go home.
