What a great stay! We were really satisfied by our stay. Absolutely highlights were the amazing location and the super friendly staff. The Lodge is located next to the river, which gives the opportunity to see a lot of animals. We saw for example some; crocodiles, hippos, babboons and elephants next to the river. Regarding the staff: super friendly, good organized and you feel directly welcome! Not unimportant, the lodge is clean and all needed facilities are there! We would definitely recommend to go here and will go back when we are in the surrounding.

I had a really beautiful stay at the lodge. As a solo traveller, Milima did an excellent job to make sure I had everything I needed and could access all opportunities. Thomas, one of the rangers, was incredible. He's super knowledgable and just a delightful human. I hope to return again!

The staff made us feel like family. Audrey, Neil, Harduus, everyone was extremely friendly and took excellent care. The food was delicious. Many elephants visited the waterhole during our stay. The game drives are thrilling and the guides very knowledgeable.

The property was very good, had great facilities such as a nice pool area and the honesty bar. The staff were amazing and really made us feel like family. We even went out for a meal with them on our final evening. Bianca the chef was amazing, all her meals were so good and diverse. Selby our game driver was the best we could’ve asked for, he was amazing at spotting all the animals and taught us so much, was a genuinely nice guy aswell. We already want to come back and will miss all of the staff. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to do a safari. We had a perfect experience. The hospitality was amazing aswell, they really do all the little details that made our trip so good.

We were the only guests, and were given a free upgrade to the chalet with private pool. The host and gardener were also very kind and helpful. We greatly enjoyed spotting smaller wildlife from the hide out during the sunset and sunrise, and the peace and quiet of the stay. During the night we were visited by a honey badger twice that tried to get into the cupboards and fridge, some excitement for sure!

Incredible location well located in Hoedspruit! Ruan and his family (owners of the lodge) were super welcoming and so friendly. They let their home become ours which was a very personal touch! Would highly recommend!

It is truly the most beautiful accommodation we have ever been to (and we are regular booking.com customers). The decor and style of the owner is sublime. Everything is perfect down to the last detail. The accommodation is equipped with everything you think you need. Super clean. A great chef who makes you a 5-star breakfast every morning. Very reasonable drink prices with the honest bar principle, write down what you used. The location is central and very safe. Wildlife in the backyard. Indeed, you never want to leave here. Everything about our stay was amazing. Francis and the team went above and beyond to make sure we had the most incredible time. The tree house was beautiful with views out into the bush. Louis was a great game driver sharing so much knowledge and having fun with us the whole time and working hard to make sure we saw the most animals we could. The food was delicious and they made sure you would enjoy everything. Nothing was too much for the staff - it really felt like a family and they welcomed you in and gave the best experience. I can’t wait to stay here again!!
