We only had one night here but it was by far the best place we stayed in Chaltèn and we were sad to leave! The breakfast was great, the staff was amazing, the beds were very comfortable, shower was really nice, and having access to a kitchen was very convenient. We wouldn’t have changed anything.

Loved all the activities on offer and really enjoyed talking with the guides and all the staff. Just wish our Spanish had been better. The dining room and living room great places to mingle and the tea house had awesome breakfast with the most stunning views. We stayed in the Ponderosa and loved the quiet isolation in this very comfortable house and the easy amble to breakfast each day.

El Calafate Bus Station is less than 1 km from the lodge, while Regional Museum is a 6-minute walk from the property. Comandante Armando Tola International Airport is 19 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Matias was a great host. The property is located very close the town center and bus terminal.
