The self contained accommodation offers free transfers from airport, train and bus stations on request. Absolutely wonderful stay at Saltbush. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly man (his name escapes me) who gave us a great recommendation for a butcher so we could get some steaks for dinner. The entire place is cozy and rustic. We didn’t use the baths but they looked so cool! Rooms were spacious, our cabin looked out onto some grass with kangaroos grazing, which was a delight for our 9 month old. It had everything we needed, including wine glasses, I only wish we’d bought a bottle from them! Highly recommend, we had a lovely little stay :)

Mon Repos is a few steps from the lodge, while Bundaberg Port Marina is 10 km from the property. Bundaberg Airport is 19 km away. Excellent glamping tent with a luxury feel and lots of room. Comfortable large beds. Our tent was spacious and clean with a nice bathroom. Great location close to the beach where we saw baby turtles making a run for the ocean before the beach closed. Lots of other wildlife around, mainly birds (noisy kookaburras) and kangaroos (both on the beach and next to our tent in the morning).

Cottage is sweet & includes everything you need & more. We made the most of the golf clubs & course right at the door. We enjoyed the lawn bowls we found inside, & the kayaks down at the lake - which is only a few minutes walk from the cottage. We kayaked on the shallow, warm lake for both sunset & sunrise & times in between - even those of us less inclined towards water sports had fun with it. Kangaroos everywhere. We also made use of the bbq on the deck with the big outdoor setting for dinner. Owner was friendly & popped in with updates as relevant, as well as to welcome us & introduce himself.

Also the furnishings were high quality and there were lots of lovely extras.

The lodge offers a sun terrace. Absolutely everything, and Bella is such a warm and welcoming person. She knows what hospitality is all about! The Lodge itself has it all. Very cute and funny decorations, lay out perfect, bed very comfortable and all is clean. Would have stayed longer if we could.
