Polo has clearly built and handpicked everything in this finca with so much love and dedication. Located deep in the jungle, it offers a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature, with only sounds of the wildlife and a river nearby for a refreshing dip (and weirdly, the WiFi was still one of the fastest I’ve used in Colombia). The food is simply outstanding - the best I’ve had in months of traveling South America. Alvaro, the chef, mostly uses ingredients from the finca’s own farm, creating delicious, well-balanced, and creative dishes. The chocolate tour is a must—easily the best chocolate I’ve had in South America. Everything here feels real, organic, and unforgettable!

Finca Barlovento Cabaña, Tayrona ligt in Los Naranjos en biedt gratis WiFi, een buitenzwembad, een tuin en een privéstrand. The property was incredibly beautiful, views over the river and straight out to the ocean. I think this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed, I would come back for every holiday if I could. Amazing food and facilities too, the room was so clean and comfortable.

Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge by Mareygua ligt in Los Naranjos, op slechts 1,5 km van de ingang van het nationaal park Tayrona in El Zaino. Alles was perfect: leuke kamer met terras, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, voortreffelijk eten, aangenaam zwembad (we kregen aparte handdoeken). Altijd koffie/thee en water ter beschikking.

Definitely the most special stay I had in Colombia. The owner Gabriel speaks very good English and provides with all information and recommends great places around. The lady who works there (Carmen) is fantastic. She prepares simple but delicious breakfast and takes care of the facility (always with a great smile). The bungalows are amazing, big and simple to relax and sleep well. Mosquito nets everywhere. The big bungalows have and open space above the room to practice yoga. Great restaurant and bar a few minutes on foot. El Zaino entrance for Tyrona Parque Nacional is 2,5 km walking distance. Thank you so much for such an amazing stay!!!!

You can see the dedication of the owner on every detail. It has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. Premium mattress and linens, hot water, tasteful decorations and lots of small details. Yuca restaurant is a few steps away and we enjoyed great breakfast and dinners. Tayrona Park is 10 minutes walking distance.

Finca Cuipo beschikt over een zwembad, een tuin, een terras en uitzicht op de zee, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi in Buritaca. Elke unit beschikt over een balkon met uitzicht op de bergen. Helmut and Fiona were the best hosts I’ve ever met, they were so caring and accommodating to all of our needs. We felt so at home! The homemade food (breakfasts and dinner) they prepared were top notch, best of the meals I’ve had in Colombia. It was so healthy and delicious, we didn’t need to leave the property to dine elsewhere. The property is in a very unique location with spectacular view, very private and serene. We were researching all the cool activities we’d like to do in the area but in the end we just spent the whole day chilling by the pool and on the hammock because it was so amazing! Just be aware it’s located on the top of the hill, so getting up and down on motortaxi was an exciting attraction itself. I’d love to come back again and have a longer stay :)
