What an incredible, laid back and relaxing place to spend your days on this side of Costa Rica. Lieke and Michael have managed to create a jungle-like oasis where I felt completely immersed in the natural environment on Guanacaste. Hearing the birds, monkeys and the ocean whilst lounging by the pool with a great restaurant and bar to the side made for the most relaxing getaway. The breakfast is superb and the staff is extremely friendly and diligent. Lieke and Michael were also extremely helpful in answering any questions and stopping by for a casual chat (given that solo travel can get lonely!). The atmosphere at Mundo Milo is so laid back that I didn’t once feel out of place sitting on my own, having a drink or reading my book!

The cabins were serene and comfortable. Loved the hammocks. The trail walks were beautiful. We loved seeing the spider monkeys every day and the resident sloth comfortably tucked away (high in a tree). We would visit again in a second. One of my favourite travel experiences. Gorgeous beaches were a short drive away.

Very well equipped and lovely decorated. Great mountain view and even a built-in stargazing net where you can enjoy the sunset and the night sky. We absolutely loved this stay!
