Breakfast was always delicious and the chocolate is the best I’ve ever had ☺️ The property is beautiful and maintained with love and devotion to the jungle, the wildlife there and nature. Fernando is very knowledgeable and always open to sharing information about the fauna and flora and wildlife. We loved our stay there.

We liked everything and were very happy with our choice. The little house in the middle of the forest/jungle was amazing. It was so quiet. Only at 4 am the hawley monkeys were waking us up with their funny voices. Bryan recommend us a good place to eat dinners at Selvin in Punta Uva and we were in love in that place too. Having a car really helps. You can visit all these playas and a must see that is Cahuita NP.

The most special stay on our entire Costa Rica trip. The houses are built inside the stretch of a beautiful selva, with direct access to the pristine, unspoiled beach. We were surrounded by sounds and sightings of wildlife on our walks to and from the beach, and when enjoying our time at the house. The love, attention and effort that goes into the maintenance of this amazing place is truly incredible. Everything works perfectly, from showers to kitchen utilities and all other comforts. Marisol took great care of us and helped us to spot sloths, toucans and howler monkeys. One of our closest wildlife encounters on the trip also took place at Congo Bongo. Following Marisol’s recommendation, we had two dinners at the local restaurant Mista Cook, it was delicious. Muchas gracias, we will be back!

Het Playa Negra Guesthouse ligt in Cahuita, recht tegenover het strand. Alle accommodaties hebben een zithoek. Everything, facilities and surroundings exceptional. My teenagers say it was their favourite place in Costa Rica. Garden is fantastic and full of wildlife, pool squeaky clean.

Passion Fruit Lodge ligt op 5 km afstand van Cahuita in de regio Limon en op 18 km van Puerto Viejo. Het beschikt over een buitenzwembad en biedt uitzicht op de tropische tuin. Beautiful garden and amazing pool, very nice and large cabana with kitchen and aircon. We love this place.

This was a little vacation to celebrate life and man, we hit jackpot!! Gianluca was a great host with super clear directions, and he helped us map potential places to visit and go eat. I forgot to take pictures, but the lodge was absolutely gorgeous, and our room had all that you needed for visiting Cahuita. La Rana De Cahuita ligt op 5 km van het centrum van Cahuita en biedt een tropische tuin en een buitenbad dat het hele jaar door geopend is. Puerto Viejo ligt op 18 km afstand. Het was super mooi, precies paradijs. Goeie bedden en goeie douche. Alle keuken spullen voorzien. Heerlijk ruikende douche gell.

Finca Chica biedt accommodatie in Puerto Viejo. Cahuita ligt op 16 km afstand. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeergelegenheid. The owner and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. They provided a jungle tour pointing out sloths, snakes, spiders, etc…. Plus, provided information on where to eat, what to do, what to see, etc..

Almonds & Corals Boutique Hotel ligt in het Nationaal Natuurreservaat Gandoca-Manzanillo en tegenover het strand van Manzanillo. Het biedt een restaurant. Er is gratis WiFi in de openbare ruimtes. De locatie is perfect, het park was paradijselijk. Onze bungalow was nieuw en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het personeel is super vriendelijk, en maakte onze trip perfect. Een echte aanrader is het restaurant 👍👍. Heerlijk gegeten.
