On a rainy and chilly night we came back to hot water bottles on our beds and appreciated the attention so much. A special mention should be given to the landscaping and gardening staff thanks to whom the place is such an Eden. I hope they get regular raises! Rooms were comfy and spotlessly clean, the breakfast delicious and plentiful and the other meals we took there were also excellent. The café also has some lovely choices.

Large size room with ample space for up to 3 adults (our party consisted of only two adults). Considering that the nights get quite cold in this area, the room kept a reasonable temperature over night, with thick blankets provided. Reasonably warm water for a good morning shower (which is a big plus, since it is not always the case in other properties in the area). Pleasant environment with nice staff members (family run place). Possibility to eat in the restaurant whereby the trout comes fresh from the fish pond.

Om heerlijk bij te komen en te genieten van de prachtige omgeving zou ik hier met gemak een week kunnen verblijven. Het restaurant is uitstekend. De prijzen liggen wel hoger, maar de keuken is dan ook niet te vergelijken met die van een doorsnee restaurant. Dat geldt ook in Nederland als je voor een restaurant kiest dat beter dan doorsnee is. Heerlijk om even wat koelere temperatuur te hebben. Meer dan voldoende dekens voor ‘a nachts.

The food in the restaurant was excellent. If you want to see Quetzal birds, this is the place; the guides grew up with them. Be ready for cold temperatures and some rain.
