Lodges in Lake District

Of course the location is the very best. As an experienced mountain hiker I have stayed in many mountain lodges and such. This hotel was en epic experience. That is if you are looking for overnight stay with proper food and drink and a nice bed, but isn`t to much into luxurious rooms and high class restaurants. The proprietor was an amazing and serviceminded fellow.

We stayed in one of the lodges and wow it was perfect. Cleaned daily all the facilities you needed. The view was just stunning. Breakfast was included and great choice available. Catered for allergies well as I'm coeliac it can be an issue but they had gluten free breakfast on menu Ate in evening x2 food was lovely again gluten free, vegetarian and vegan catered for. Plenty of choice. Staff always friendly and polite will definitely be booking in here next time we visit family.

A nice peaceful place where you can relax,staff very friendly,great food in the restaurant.we stayed in one of the lodges with sauna . Enjoying every minute. definitely will be back at some point

Lovely lodge, felt like a ski lodge. Great little coffee shop .

Great family get away! Had everything we needed and great location, horses in our door step which my 2yr loved and chickens roaming around😊, they daughter of the man who owned the lodges kindly got a horse out for our son! Will defo be back❤️
