From the moment we arrived, we absolutely loved our stay here. Fred, the owner, built this Ecolodge himself with a clear mission: to be 100% sustainable. Every aspect of the property reflects that goal—everything is green, circular, and thoughtfully designed. The lodge is impressively clean, well-maintained, and full of character. The rooms are spacious, freshly renovated, and each comes with its own private bathroom. We stayed in the Double Room, which was very comfortable and equipped with a fan—perfect for keeping cool at night. All the essentials are available on-site, including kayak and snorkeling gear rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Sook Peng, Fred’s wife, is not only an incredible cook but also a truly warm and welcoming person. Sharing meals with her was a joy, and her cooking made every meal memorable. There are also cozy hammocks for relaxing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. We couldn't recommend this place more highly—it's a rare gem built with heart and purpose. Oh, I was almost forgetting, both land and transport are organized by the Fred and Sook Peng and everything went super smooth! Terima kasih Fred and Sook Peng!

Hawun Valley Kiulu dispone de bañera de hidromasaje y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado en Tamparuli, a 39 km de Filipino Market Sabah, a 34 km de Likas City Mosque y a 39 km de Sabah State... The view in the morning and the friendly owner.Definitely will stay again.

Tammoyo Place se encuentra en Kudat, en la región de Sabah, y ofrece alojamiento con parking privado gratis. Algunas unidades incluyen zona de estar y/o balcón. El lodge ofrece zona de juegos... Loved everything, the bungalow is magical and the stuff is great. They take care in the best way of you in this remote piece of paradise. Definitely worth the journey to reach. El The Last Frontier Boutique Resort se encuentra en Bilit, en lo alto de una colina de 100 metros con vistas a la reserva forestal de Kinabatangan y a 2 horas en coche de la hermosa Sandakan. Everything was great, we loved our stay and didn’t want to leave at all! We were picked up by our gracious host who told us a lot about Borneo. After ascending the 600 step stairs, the view from the restaurant was amazing. Furthermore we saw a lot of wildlife on the boat trips!

Bayu Senja Lodge se encuentra en Kundasang y dispone de vistas al jardín, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. We stayed at this lodge for one night. It's very nice and comfortable lodge especially the room with balcony. It's beyond my expectations. Very clean and tidy room. The toilet is also very clean, shower and heater works properly and great. The view from this lodge is very amazing although mount Kinabalu is not at our side but the view is still very nice and amazing. Overall, Bayu Senja Lodge ( especially the room with balcony ) is very nice, good and comfortable to stay. The management should build more room like this in the future. Once the lodge canteen starts operating, the lodge has become much better place to choose for staying.

Borneo Jungle Adventure está en Kinabatangan y dispone de wifi gratis, terraza, restaurante y zona de barbacoa. Increible experiencia, el guia Khai y todo el personal del hotel fueron amables, atentos y cercanos con nosotros en todo momento. Además, Khai consiguió que vieramos el Big 5 de Borneo. Recomendado al 100%.

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort se encuentra en Sepilok y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año, restaurante y bar. La ubicación, el personal y el entorno en general. La comida es variada y rica.

Nulu View Cabin se encuentra en Kundasang, en la región de Sabah, y ofrece alojamiento con parking privado gratis. Great view, superb facilities, clean & comfortable.

Maglami-lami Water House está en Semporna y dispone de vistas al mar y restaurante. Hay un baño privado con bidet en todas las unidades, además de artículos de aseo gratuitos y zapatillas. Warm greeting by the staffs upon arrival. Snorkling was included in the stay with gears and life jackets provided. One of their security staff offered to help take wonderful pictures for me and my family. Water was clear with lots of marine life. Was lucky to see a huge turtle swim by on our last day. Do prepare 100rm per adult and 50rm (kids) for a round-trip boat transfer at semporna.

Tampat do Aman se encuentra en Kudat y ofrece wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante. Howard was an exceptional host. From the minute we arrived, he made us feel settled and showed us around the area. He offered to bring us every morning to wherever we wanted to go along the tip of Borneo. The jungle camp itself is so special and there is a great vibe amongst the other travellers. We would have loved to stay longer but we needed to catch the bus to Sandakan (and they don’t go very often!)
