If you would like to discover the area, cycling is possible in the surroundings and the lodge can arrange a car rental service. If I could give a higher score than 10 I would! This place is in an unbelievable location, right on the edge of the national park. 3 days I was there I saw orangutans on the property and lots of other monkeys in the trees outside my balcony. Yes, it is a steep climb to get here but if you are doing a jungle trek you will need to walk up past the property to get to the national park anyway. If you arrange transport through them they will send someone to help with your bags. The food in the restaurant is amazing and very reasonably priced and there is lots of variety so you don’t even need to leave the property for meals! I got laundry done as well which was a bonus. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I did the 2D/1N jungle trek with Orangutan Bungalow and it was incredible! The guides were fabulous, the food was wonderful and we saw so much wildlife that it was almost overwhelming at times. Yes there are bugs and geckos around but you are in the jungle so it’s to be expected. If you want sterile accommodation with air conditioning then you will have to pay a lot more than you pay staying here. Don’t stay anywhere else!

Guests at Green Travelodge Bukit Lawang can enjoy cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. wonderful staff which goes out of their way to make your trip perfect. flawless and highly reliable organization including airport transfers, an unforgettable jungle tour and even to go to a local wedding. accommodation was spotlessly clean set amidst a beautiful garden. the tour guides on the 2 day orang Utan jungle tour were Johnny assisted by Risky, and both were simply awesome, always looking after my safety, and Risky scouted to find orang utans and we saw 7 up really close away from the other groups. I especially liked how respectful Johnny was with these amazing creatures, ensuring we keep a respectful distance but giving me lots of time to observe and enjoy. the overnight stay was highly memorable, we had PI as our private cook who cooked 5 different delicious dishes and a very tasty breakfast. can only highly recommend visiting Bukit Lawang and am sure there is not better way to experience it by staying at green Travelodge.

Absolutely loved my stay here, I highly recommend it! The room was cozy, spacious, and had a great view over the river. I even saw an orangutan and a few monkeys from my room. The staff was incredibly friendly. The atmosphere was really chill, with some staff members even playing guitar during the day. The food was tasty and reasonnably priced. Excellent customer services!

I loved the location of the jungle lodge, it was perched on a jungle hillside... truly amazing😍 I had Ian & Jeffrey as my guides & they were very informative and helpful throughout the jungle trek. Yanta was another assistant & I couldn't be happier about it... so kind & friendly :). Awesome experience! I will be back one day!

At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving Indonesian and international cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. We were treated like family at on the rocks, wawan and his team were so helpful and friendly that we instantly felt at home. I cannot recommend staying here enough. We did multiple treks with Wong and he was wonderful, so much information to share but also never even felt like he was a guide. Treks can be suited for your fitness level but you are almost guaranteed to see orangutans no matter where you go. The restaurant was also delicious.

A car rental service is available at the lodge. We had a truly wonderful stay at Frenkie’s villa in Krui. The place was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing holiday. But what made our time extra special was the kindness and thoughtfulness of Frenkie and his wife. They surprised me with a cake and doughnuts for my birthday, which was such a heartwarming gesture and made me feel incredibly welcome and cared for. I’m so grateful for their generosity—it really made the experience unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend this villa and these amazing hosts enough. Thank you, Frenkie!

Situated in Andalas, 50 km from Hatta Palace, Livio Homestay features accommodation with a terrace, free WiFi and room service. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a balcony.

Towels and bed linen are offered in the lodge. The homestay currently consists of three one-room cabins and a small house w/ a compact kitchen. It’s located in a quiet area away from the busy main road. The owner is a very kind elementary school teacher who lives near the homestay with his family. I stayed in one of the cabins and enjoyed the cleanliness, the hot water in the shower, the excellent WiFi, the exceptional view from the back porch, and the incredible hospitality of the whole family.

A water park is available on site and fishing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Small apartment with private bathroom and western shower. Balcony with Sea view. Only 10 meters to the Ocean (private beach). Free drinking water and hot water. It’s possible to buy coffee and small goods at the hostel. The owner is very kind. Bed is big and comfortable. Fan is enough to keep the room cool with open windows.

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the lodge, while hiking and cycling can be enjoyed nearby. the staffs are great. they are very helpful. the location is great if you like nature. there is no aircon in the room, but we sleep comfortably. don't forget the insect repellant. it's nature after all. you can't avoid insects especially moquitoes.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Good vibe. Delicious breakfast. One of us forgot their phone on the way to airport and the staff willing to sent them.
