Convenient location right next to the ski lift. The hotel owner is an incredible woman—she helped with any questions and even picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. The food was delicious.

Excellent location, shuttle stops for all the mountains were a five min walk or less, as were the ski rental shop and many restaurants. Loved hanging out in the common room. And most of all we LOVED Taka, he was the best. Such an amazing host. Definitely would stay here again if I came back to Hakuba and definitely would recommend to a friend.

The owners (a very nice couple) deserve the title of „best hosts ever“. They printed out train schedules and circled the trains we had to catch, they helped us plan a daytrip, they drove us to the next hotel, so we didn’t have to get a cab. If I could, I would even give additional stars for this pension. I will certainly return.

A 10 minutos a pie de Happo One Ski Resort, los huéspedes del Log Cottage Epoch pueden alquilar una casa entera. We loved the cottage and the sleeping floor. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room was very comfortable. The area was quiet and the staff extra nice! Playground area for children was very much appreciated by our daughter as well as the super mini train experience!

Great location, a short walk up to Hakuba Goryu. It's great to have this classic Japanese hotel reopened by the hard-working crew. Erica, Hiro and the team made us feel very welcome and at home. Good drying room and bath facilities. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Included breakfast was a great bonus.

The property is a log cabin with an open penthouse area and a patio. It has fully equipped kitchen, washing machine with automatic drying cycle, two air-conditioners, Western and Japanese bathroom, screens on windows to protect from insects etc. The manager responded to questions even during the evening.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Snowhere Ski Lodge! Dan and his wonderful family went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of our trip. The lodge itself is spotless, spacious, in a great location, and very reasonably priced. During our stay, my partner had a skiing accident, and we couldn’t have been in better hands. The incredible team at Snowhere Ski Lodge immediately helped us get to the hospital, assisted with translations, and even checked in on us days later to make sure everything was okay. Their kindness and support made such a difference! Looking back on our Japan trip, our time at Snowhere Ski Lodge was by far the highlight. It’s the perfect place for anyone visiting Hakuba for skiing—you’ll meet fellow snow lovers, share great conversations, and truly make the most of your experience. Breakfast was prepared by Dan each morning and it was great! 10/10 for the whole experience.
