Lodges in Kyoto

Great to experience ttraditional japanese lodgings and baths. Thank you for giving is information on the lion festival.

The room was good size in comparison to most Japanese lodging places. Location is good however, there was not very much choices of restaurant. It's pretty residential. But for the room rate, it's not bad. There are nearby train stations that is 10 mins walk. It also very close to the thousand gates fushimi inari site, you can walk over there in 20 mins.

Staff were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. The lodging is beautiful and comfortable. We loved the onsen!

Loved the location - near Kyoto main station. The room was clean and brightly lit and the in-room television programming was good. The staff were helpful and I like the baggage check system that uses a QR code to lodge and retrieve baggage. Overall a great place to stay!

The traditional Japanese wooden house with the tatami floor bedrooms, very comfortable futons and the private garden view with the camelia blossoms. Amazing breakfast and tea & coffee facilities. The host was really welcoming and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. Good location and easy connection with great coffee and food near by, check out Yoshihara for amazing coffee. The public onsen was incredible. We will be back!

The washing, kitchen & bathroom amenities were fantastic, The pine style of the lodging was lovely, exactly like the pictures. Convenient location for laundromat to dry clothes, convenience stores are close by, and train station also.

I loved the ambience of the hotel. I stayed with my grandparents, who can be picky about accommodations, and this was their favorite lodging during our time in Japan!

Convenient location as it is a walking distance from Kyoto station and Aeon mall. The lodging is very clean meet our needs perfectly. Furthermore, the staffs are all very friendly and cheerful.

Travelodge Kyoto is pretty new and well designed. The location is perfect. The room is small but the facility is good and the beds are comfortable.Good value to stay in an affordable price.
