Hakuba Third Place Lodge is gelegen in Hakuba in de regio Nagano, dicht bij skiresort Hakuba Goryu. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. I’ll write this in English such that everyone could possibly get my opinion. This place is surprisingly good, it has a great location Goryu Escal plaza within walkable distance (appr. 6mins). And Goryu is the only one resort which has the night operation hours, so take advantage of that. Plenty of food options near the lodge. I was traveling alone and I had my good dining every night, get some local foods and beers what a great combination! Speaking of combo, this place has two Onsen (Hot tub) one private with little of extra charge and one public. It’s just a wonderful thing to do after days and days of skiing or snowboarding. For those who didn’t drive you should be fine as said this place has great location so you will be able to get back in multiple ways. Akira, the owner of this lodge and a skater from Tokyo, was being super helpful and informative to every of his guests, his crew members were very friendly it’s just a home place to stay at. They pick you up and drop you off at the nearest bus/train stop. They provide traffic information, map handouts, and discount tickets. Thanks to this place gave me the most impressive experience during my first visit in Japan. Arigato！

Uchimaru Hakuba ligt in Hakuba in de regio Nagano, dicht bij wintersportgebied Happo One en busterminal Hakuba Happo. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Such a great place to stay at! Nice spacious room with comfortable beds, great common room to chill at night after a day on the slopes too. We really liked the freshly cooked breakfast every morning, simply delicious. A big thanks also for our host Mr. Chen for his wonderful hospitality, and a special thanks for driving back to the station to bring us the bag we forgot at the lodge, would not have made our train without him! Overall great experience, would recommend to anyone going to Hakuba.

Such a beautiful property and rooms, staff were lovely, the owner even picked us up from the train stop and dropped us off to our next hotel! Super close to the ski lift as well. Everything perfect!

ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B is gelegen in Chino en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een terras en een bar. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Shiga Kogen Lodge ligt in Yamanouchi, op 20 km van Jigokudani Monkey Park, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. Iedere unit heeft een zitgedeelte en een eetgedeelte. We loved everything - from the food, the onsen, the new sauna and especially the owners and Moko!

Pension Tomato ligt op 10 minuten rijden van Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort en biedt ruime kamers in westerse stijl met een loft. Was an amazingly cozy and comfortable stay in Echoland! 1. super convenient and easy walking distance to restaurants, bus station and ski rental place! 2. friendly and helpful local couple owns the place! Gave us a lift from the train station and to the bus station! 3. amazing private onsen super nice to soak in after a long day on the slopes, easy to book and clean!

Log Cottage Epoch ligt op 10 minuten lopen van Happo One Ski Resort en u kunt een hele cottage huren. Elke ruime cottage is voorzien van gratis WiFi en beschikt over een keuken en een woonkamer. This place was fantastic. Mountain cabin in a distinctly Japanese style. It's not especially walkable but Toshi will shuttle you around the valley, including to Happo One ski resort. Just need to take a taxi if you're trying to get back after dinner time. Private onsen was really nice. Toshi and his wife were wonderful hosts, easily recommend.
