It’s beautiful, everything about Shanti is luxury and high quality. It’s quiet location, a short 5 minute walk into the hustle and bustle and moments from the beach, provides a tranquil and peaceful space. The staff were so welcoming and helpful from moment of arrival, and served a delicious breakfast in the morning!
I was working remote and the Wi-Fi was quick and super reliable, no issues on any of my zoom calls.
Everything about Shanti was just perfect and I cannot wait to return.

This is a very nice property located outside of San Ignacio. It’s meant to be more of a remote, jungle experience in nice little individual lodges. It is only about a 10 minute taxi to the center of town. If you are looking to be in walking distance then better to stay in town, but if looking for a hideaway this was a very nice spot!

This amazing jungle/river lodge exceeded our expectations. The view is simply spectacular and food is delicious and fresh from farm to table. The waterfalls, river and natural pool to swim in is a real treat. When you look up at the lodges on the side of the hill (from the waterfalls), you can’t stop marvel at how beautifully designed this place is.

Nice staff and room! It is noisy die to the road but if you live in the city it is the same amount of noise. We were so tired from our trip from Mexico city and went straight to Rio dulce it was easy for us to fall a sleep Also pick up (collectivo/public boat) from the hotel to Livingstone and other river lodges

Fantastic wooden house. So pretty and authentic! We felt like camping or safari Mexican jungle safari. In the morning the serene garden and lake front, so peaceful and beautiful that it was hard to leave.

The hotel is great for a stopover in Palenque. Nice swimming pool, friendly staff, pretty good food, private parking. For longer stays in Palenque I prefer the eco lodges in the jungle surrounding Palenque but if you would like to stay downtown I recommend this hotel.

Loved the hotel and had a great stay. Restaurant was good too, and there are a couple of other lodges nearby where you can also eat if you don't want to drive into Mahahual. Kitesurfing opportunities nearby, and just a lovely peaceful location.
