Ideale familiekamers. Maaltijden in buffetvorm, maar bijv vlees en eieren werden op bestelling vers gemaakt. Veel keus, goede kwaliteit. Mooi zwembad met uitzicht over de heuvels. Gezellige bar.

Huab Lodge & BushSPA ligt in Damaraland en wordt omgeven door weelderige vegetatie. Het beschikt over een zwembad en een natuurlijke bron. We stayed in a lot of great places in Namibia, but this was our absolute favourite. Beautiful accommodation, stunning setting, warm and friendly service. We loved the rooms with the huge balcony, and the large communal dining/bar area. All guests (and the owners) sit together at one large sociable dinner table, the food is excellent. We also did the Desert Elephant Tour with Deon - this was a real highlight of our trip. We were lucky to find the elephants, but even if we hadn't it would have been worthwhile for the beautiful journey along the ephemeral river beds (and the lunch!). This place is very special and we will come back one day.

De Gondwana Damara Mopane Lodge ligt op 25 km van Khorixas. De accommodaties bevinden zich tussen een halve cirkel van onderling verbonden paden, met een zwembad in het midden. Everything. Especially all the staff. Landscape previous. Excelent accommodation.

Aabadi Mountain Camp ligt in Khorixas en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. Petrified Forest Khorixas ligt op 30 km van de lodge. We spent two fantastic days in this mountain camp, surrounded by peaceful nature. A special thanks goes out to the chef Marysne who surprised us with delicious dinners out of nowhere. They have just taken over this place and we were last minute guests, nevertheless she could manage to put together amazing meals. Mongetti, our host, new in his role did a great job to welcome and look after us. The location is exceptional, nearby the touristic attractions, you need a car, organ pipes, burned mountains, Twyfelfontein site and elephant safari (strongly recommended, much less busy than etosha). At the back of the camp, on the top of the hill you can see a stunning sunset. I would definitely come back.
