Lodge Damaraland in Khorixas biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, een buitenzwembad, een terras, een restaurant en een bar. De lodge beschikt over zowel gratis WiFi als privéparkeren. Deze lodge is prachtig. Heel nieuw, supermooie en gezellige kamers. Ook het personeel was geweldig, altijd in voor een babbel en heel attent. Het avondeten is in buffet maar heel, heel lekker. Wij boekten een massage en deze was heerlijk.

Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp beschikt over een buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en biedt accommodatie in Khorixas met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Beautiful location, amazing tents, loved the sundowner spot and food. Will definitely come back!

Huab Lodge & BushSPA ligt in Damaraland en wordt omgeven door weelderige vegetatie. Het beschikt over een zwembad en een natuurlijke bron. Huab lodge is one of those places that will stay in your memory for a long time. The drive to it is a bit off the beaten track, through gates and over a few small dry river beds. But once there, gosh! Peace. Except for the birds, the insects, Deon and Lidia's welcome, this is the life! Then the rooms. Glorious. No frilly gold plated stuff. Don't expect bling. Just comfort. Great views, spacious, great bathrooms. This is an ecolodge so no hairdriers or aircon. But they are not needed. Relax. Great food, proper hospitality, the night sky... worth it for nightjars and stars alone. And then the desert elephant safaris... just go there.

De Gondwana Damara Mopane Lodge ligt op 25 km van Khorixas. De accommodaties bevinden zich tussen een halve cirkel van onderling verbonden paden, met een zwembad in het midden. Everything. Especially all the staff. Landscape previous. Excelent accommodation.

Aabadi Mountain Camp ligt in Khorixas en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. Petrified Forest Khorixas ligt op 30 km van de lodge. We spent two fantastic days in this mountain camp, surrounded by peaceful nature. A special thanks goes out to the chef Marysne who surprised us with delicious dinners out of nowhere. They have just taken over this place and we were last minute guests, nevertheless she could manage to put together amazing meals. Mongetti, our host, new in his role did a great job to welcome and look after us. The location is exceptional, nearby the touristic attractions, you need a car, organ pipes, burned mountains, Twyfelfontein site and elephant safari (strongly recommended, much less busy than etosha). At the back of the camp, on the top of the hill you can see a stunning sunset. I would definitely come back.
