It is located in a rustic location just off the main road. Less than 5 minutes from a beautiful beach, that had full faculties and a small selection of vendor food available, the pizza trailer was excellent. 10 minute walk to town and local bus stops within 300 meters of the property. The European Breakfast was excellent with homemade muffins. Also has an afternoon tea if your around the property, if not a small plate of sweets we're waiting in the room.

It offers self-contained accommodation with a private patio, a fireplace and barbecue facilities. Loved the view, the location and the facilities. The simple layout with two bathrooms and laundry was great! We’ll definitely be back again for a longer stay.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 25 km from Waitakere Ranges, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. It was a piece of paradise. Quiet location off the beaten track. Very warm and cosy.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy hiking and cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. The lodge was a perfect setting for our stay, we fortunately had pretty awesome weather so could make good use of the lovely outdoor decks. Our apartment was clean and well set up. Fiona, our host, was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The lodge itself is just a short walk from Tryphena Bay, with an easy visit to the pub, cafe and local store.
