This property is exactly as described and shown in pictures only better. We loved every minute. The outdoor tub, the night sky with one night even having a slight aurora glow. The Highlander cows who posed for photos. The delicious breakfast that came with the room, the glass bedroom. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners’ mother who stopped to check to make sure we were not lost while out exploring. While the location is a bit remote, that was what we were looking for, and it is a short drive into the town of Twizel and the nearby lavender farm. The Peace Ring was temporarily closed but we could see it from the road. Highly recommend!

Staff were great, couldn't be more accommodating! Always making sure you were quite happy. Location, scenery perfect! Very Relaxed ! quiet, you could do whatever - walking, reading, massages on site, great meals.

Location is great and so close to the other hotel (5 minutes walk) that if you do not want to cook yourself, you can enjoy next door restaurant facilities.

We absolutely loved everything about this lovely place!! We especially enjoyed the pretty view, the large closet, and the spacious bathroom. Hope you get to stay at this superior room!!!
