Veel lieve dieren te spotten vanaf het terras. Waaronder Rio onze favoriete wilde toekan die bijna elke dag langs komt 🥰 Wel ver van alles afgelegen maar dit weet je van tevoren. Koelkast en keukentje ter beschikking en ontbijt is heerlijk!

Toucan Hill is a hidden jungle paradise, but what truly makes it special is David. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home with his kindness, warmth, and attention to detail. The cabins are brand new, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped—sharp knives, quality cookware, a coffee machine, and even reusable water bottles to help reduce waste. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor living space is perfect for relaxing. We loved being surrounded by nature—waking up to the sounds of monkeys, spotting sloths in the trees, and seeing toucans and flying toads right outside our window. The beach is stunning, and David even provided beach mats and bags to make our days by the ocean even better. He went above and beyond, offering to bring us groceries from town and sharing great conversations over a beer, making us feel like old friends.

Maxxi and Jane were such great hosts. Jungle Paunch is a fantastic place to stay, and I would absolutely come back to this place. It's right down the road from the ocean and within walking distance to a few restaurants. The howler monkeys are loud in the morning, but it's exciting to be able to stay in nature and experience it so closely. Overall, you are instantly relaxed when you arrive at Jungle Paunch.

Skully's House biedt een restaurant en accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, een privéstrand en een terras. Paunch Beach ligt op 7 minuten lopen. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Fantastische plaats om te verblijven. De kamers zijn ruim, leuk ongericht en goed uitgerust. De locatie is perfect. Niet in de drukte van bocas town en toch overal dichtbij. De gezellige bar, verschillende restaurants, het mooie zwembad, de pooltafels, het privé strand voor het hotel maken het verblijf compleet. Skully en het personeel zorgen ervoor dat je nooit meer weg wil! Wij komen nog terug!

Konsenda has his own boat, with the best captain in Bocas, it is possible to drive to the mainland and discover so much there by car. I will add that although you are absolutely in the jungle, the bungalow has all the comforts, frogs singing at night and birds singing in the morning are the only sounds, Popa Island is the most remote, the cleanest and the quietest, believe me, in the most beautiful coral gardens, you are the only ones! Absolutely gorgeous location. We enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and relaxing. The small resort size contributed to friendly conversation amongst the international clientele. Staff was great and attentive to every need.
