Ricky has a dream to make a lovely, comfortable, friendly place to stay for travellers in Caraz-and he is doing a great job of it. Our balcony private double room was a good size, nice views over town, warm comfortable bed and good hot shower with pressure. Ricky is a terrific host, smiling, happy and wanting to ensure you have the best experience possible. He helped with taxis and tours and was always willing to chat or help with anything. This isn’t 5 star- it is authentic, local guy making a lovely hostel for guests to enjoy.

Samana Lodge está en Carhuaz y ofrece alojamiento con terraza o balcón, wifi gratis y TV de pantalla plana, además de piscina al aire libre y jardín. The huts are so cute and comfortable and the owner was amazing and made us feel very welcome! We were invited to a pizza evening, breakfast was served outside in the beautiful garden and we loved spending time with all the lovely dogs and cats. I would absolutely recommend this place for animal lovers!

Mirador Willcacocha lodge - Glamping - Camping está en Huaraz y dispone de vistas a la montaña, jardín, terraza y bar. Hay una cocina totalmente equipada y un baño compartido. El lugar es maravilloso, si bien es cierto están en proceso de implementación, pero todo nos pareció execelente, personal amable, camas cómodas, una vista privilegiada. Pedimos que nos instalen nuestra tienda cerca a la laguna y lo hicieron sin ningún problema.

Absolutely beautiful! It's surrounded by nature and a beautiful flowing river. The bedrooms are so beautiful, comfortable, and clean The owner is so pleasant, generous, welcoming, and kind. We loved her! I highly recommend this place.

El The Lazy Dog Inn, situado a 7 km de Huaraz y a 3.650 metros sobre el nivel del mar, ofrece solárium y vistas a la montaña. Casi todos los alojamientos tienen balcón y/o patio. This was perfect for our stay - we wanted some peace and quiet away from Lima where we live, and this was exactly what we wanted. There were other guests who did some amazing trekking too, so there is something for everyone here. I had a lovely horse ride with Wayne, one of the owners. Ideallic. Wayne and his wife Diana, who are Canadian, are wonderful hosts. The food is brilliant, worthy of the best restaurants in Lima (and dinner is included, which we didn't realise and was an amazing bonus). Our cottage had a wood fire too, which made it very cosy.
