Ronaldo and Natalie are so kind and hospitable, we can't recommend them enough :) All of the meals were delicious, and 2-3 courses. Ronaldo welcomed us with a welcome drink too, which hit the spot after a long day of hiking. Facilities were very clean, and they have a nice pool and lounge area and good wifi. Highly recommend for a stay in the oasis when hiking the Colca Canyon!

The guacamole they served when we arrived was a highlight. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the views from the rooms were a delight. Even had our own balcony off our bedroom.

Surrounded by greenery and hills at the bottom of the Sangelle Valley and offering an outdoor pool and free breakfast, Oasis Paraiso Ecolodge is located in Cabanaconde. Cabanaconde can be reached in 3 hours, by foot, horse or mule only. They have a very nice pool, the room with a private bathroom was clean and spacious. The staff is very nice and helpful. You can get a dinner for 25 soles and it was pretty good.

We told them that our hiking shoes broke completely beyond repair during the hike to Llahuar and the owner was very committed in helping us - he made it possible that our larger backpack that we stored in Cabanaconde was brought to the lodge so we can retrieve other shoes for the resting hiking days. Beautiful place, good food, welcoming vibe!
