Lorena, the host, was amazing and made us feel at home every day while we were there. Breakfast was tasty and they were preparing it earlier than usual as we had early morning tours. We felt very connected with the nature and spent amazing days.

We loved this hotel! 100% our very favourite accommodation in 6 weeks in Peru! The family operating this hotel is some of the kindest people we met and they will help you with anything you need :) Their property is huge and they show you around and explain to you everything you need and want to know! I was sick for 2 days, and they even made me a special herbal tea from an Amazonian plant that helped me a lot. Even the food - amazing!! All the meals are delicious, freshly prepared, and made with a lot of local and seasonal plants from their 14-hectare land. On our walk, we even went to pick fruits with them, which we could try 5 minutes later! This was truly an amazing experience, and this hotel alone was worth the commute to Iquitos.

CAMUNGO jungle Lodge in indigenous community ALL INCLUSIVE tiene vistas a la montaña y está en Puerto Franco. Cuenta con restaurante, club infantil, bar, jardín y terraza. Going to the forest with Mario was amazing. I saw In nature everything I wanted to see: snakes, caymans, numerous birds and parrots, slots!! They are so cute! The jungle exploration was fantastic. The same warm was welcoming by community. This is the lodge I defined advice! I was in couple places in amazon and here you really feel like you become part of amazon. But didn’t come to some commercial hotel. I like them but definitely not good choose when you want to explore the jungle! Camungo lodge in Livertad is perfect choice. And the comfort of houses was great! They are newly builded! everything is nice and super clean!

Intillama Jungle Lodge EIRL tiene vistas al jardín y está en Paucarpata. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de traslado gratuito, bar, jardín y terraza. Lo que más nos gustó fue la manera en la que todos te hacen sentir como en casa. La amabilidad, y luego la ubicación y el entorno, son privilegiados, estas completamente conectado con la selva. Gracias de corazón a Segundo y a Lewis, nuestros guías, y por supuesto a Rosita por hacerlo posible. Nos vamos plenos.

El Jacamar Lodge Expeditions está ubicado a orillas del río Amazonas, en medio de la selva y a 120 km del centro de Iquitos. Excellent, rustic stay and our guides Christian and Segundo couldn't have been better! Very cool guys and they are legit one with nature they know EVERYTHING about the Amazon life. The lodge itself is super cool - literally in the middle of the jungle. And the food is the best part of the stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make sure you're never hungry! Excellent stay, felt safe the entire time including the included transportation from the airport and back. Highly recommend Jacamar if you want to truly experience the Amazon of Peru.

Pacaya Samiria Amazon Lodge - ALL INCLUSIVE tiene vistas al jardín y se encuentra en Nauta. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de traslado gratuito, bar, jardín y terraza. Se ofrece wifi gratis. The location and the activities and the staff. It was all fantastic.

El Amazon Muyuna Lodge es un ecolodge situado en la Reserva Comunal de Tamshiyacu Tahuayo, a orillas del río Amazonas, a 3 horas del centro de Iquitos. The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent.

Este albergue está situado a orillas del río Amazonas, en la Reserva Comunal Yanamono, a 80 km de Iquitos. Las instalaciones son muy completas, el personal es muy agradable, discreto y atento. Las excursiones estuvieron muy bien organizados, completas y puntuales. Los traslados en lancha son muy cómodos. Nuestro guía fue Antoni. Un tío encantador, resolvió todas nuestras dudas, nos generó muchísima confianza en la selva, las explicaciones de animales y plantas eran completas y muy entendibles.

El Ämak Iquitos Ecolodge - All Inclusive se encuentra en Santa Clara y ofrece alojamiento con pensión completa y excursiones por el río y la selva tropical. The whole experience is very well organized - from check in/ check out, transfers, experiences, meals. The stuff is very welcoming, warm, friendly and always trying to be helpful. The food was absolutely amazing! The cabañas are super comfortable and clean, the common area is very spacious and the outdoor space is a dream! Huge thanks to Julio and Mamerto for making our trip memorable.

Libertad Jungle Lodge ofrece alojamiento en Yucuruche y cuenta con terraza. Hay jardín en este alojamiento, y en la zona se puede practicar pesca y piragüismo. The staff are exceptional. My guide Joel came and picked me up from the airport and took me to the lodge in safety, which is approximately 2-3 hours travel. During my stay I felt completely safe as a solo traveller. The food was fresh and amazing every time with freshly made juices from local fruit in every meal. The lodge is beautiful and the rooms feature your own balcony with an incredible view. Regarding the facilities, the lodge is located on the river and is built with natural materials, so of course, expect to see insects. You are in the jungle after all! The mosquito nets do a really good job though, so I didn't have any trouble sleeping. Expect to hear wildlife noises from your room, although I quite enjoyed waking up with the sound of birds every day. The activities were super organised, and they offer a big variety for day and night experiences. All of them are wildlife experts, you get a personal guide, a personalised tour and a boat driver at all times. Don't forget to tip your guides! They will totally deserve it as well. They try their hardest to make your experience an amazing one! If you are crazy about wildlife, I recommend Joel. He could spot all sorts of animals from a distance, so I got to see a lot of different species. Both, with Wilson, the canoe driver, they had amazing coordination. I totally recommend the lodge and I would do it all over again. When you get there, you will see there are other lodges as well, which seemed to target tourists more, but not sure either. I am happy I chose this one and got to support their community!
