A cute and unique property. The property had everything we needed for a short stay. The views around the property are amazing. Very comfortable deck chairs to sit outside. We received a very warm welcome from our hosts on the day. The breakfast was amazing lots of fruit and bread and croissants delivered on the morning.

Just an adorable cabin in the middle of beautiful Talasnal. We absolutely loved the enclosed fireplace. We ate a good meal every night with the fire going. The hosts are fantastic and super responsive. We made the mistake of locking ourselves out one night, and Pedro and his wife were quick to help us resolve the issue. I can't recommend this place enough!

The location is beautiful and very peaceful. Although you do need a car to really appreciate the area, there is a regular bus service that stops close to the cottage and we used this for our visit to Coimbra. We loved the private pool and made use of it every day and the outside space is huge with lots of comfortable furniture and spectacular views. The homemade jam and fruits from the garden were a bonus which we also really appreciated. I would recommend the Gardner's cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in a beautiful part of Portugal.

The craftsmanship in the remodel & the furnishings of this house are amazing. Good skilled artisans did the work very tastefully. Extremely quiet. Excellent location. Would have loved to have had more than 2 days here. There are plenty of great hikes & things to do in the area. Also had one of our best portuguese meals 20 mins away, in Talasnal, at Montanhas de Amor.
