We stayed one night before we moved forward and we rested very well. The owner is very nice and the place is close to the mountain which makes it perfect for the ones who want to ride Transfăgărășan and enjoy the area. The facility is the well equipped and very clean.

It's a comfortable and clean accommodation next to the forest. It's really close to the top (about 30-40 minutes). There was a well equipped kitchen, in the morning we had fresh coffee and milk waiting for us. It was a wooden house so I was afraid there would be spiders and bugs, but nothing. Every location was perfectly clean. I would recommend it.

We had such a great time staying at this cottage – it was a truly special experience! From the moment we arrived, we could tell how much thought and care the hosts put into making guests feel welcome 😊 Soft music was playing, and there were a few snacks, cold drinks, and water waiting for us, such a nice surprise after the trip. The place has a really warm and homey atmosphere, especially thanks to the amazing book collection around the house. We just love it! One detail that stuck with me was finding a Van Gogh book in the bathroom – such a cool and unexpected touch! I also really appreciated the little jewelry box, super practical. Every morning, the hosts prepared super delicious coffee for us, which we enjoyed out on the beautiful open balcony. It’s such a peaceful spot with a great view – absolutely perfect for starting the day! There’s also a lovely terrace with two sunbeds, nice plants in the cottage and some cool posters that add character to the space. Overall, the cottage feels like it was created with real love for hosting. We truly appreciated both the comfort and the little details throughout our stay. It’s definitely a hidden gem, and we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unique getaway! Thanks again for a wonderful stay 🧡

Casa de Lemn Arpasu de jos se encuentra en Arpaşu de Jos, en la región de Sibiu, a 29 km de Fortaleza de Făgăraş. What a great little spot!! Beds were very comfortable. We had a great sleep. The rooms and kitchen were well stocked. The workmanship of the building was fantastic. The woodwork, lights, headboard.. everything looked amazing, we loved it. We only made a quick overnight stop, so we made dinner and breakfast in the kitchen. Small little town, but having a car, this was not a problem. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!! And I almost forgot the hosts, they are very nice and made sure we had everything we needed and more!!
