Great location, close to amenities with easy access to lake Bohinj. Very comfortable lodge with good facilities.

Tone is a great host and the place is fantastic, considering it is a wooden house. However the toilets and the kitchen were in another house fully equipped and clean (just dont forget your coffee machine). Our house was the one with a glass roof, unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the stars because it was raining every night so we already have the perfect excuse for going back next summer.

We’ve stayed in dozens of properties all over the world and the Captains Lodge was our favourite. Stunning location, amazing outdoor area, great river view, relaxing hot tub, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge area and a lovely host. Just wish we’d been able to stay longer.

The lodge is very nice and clean and has everything you need in a house.the stove is amazing it keeps the house warm and we enjoyed cooking on it . The wifi was excellent although when doing the booking it says no internet but there is internet and strong reception too. We took a nice walk in the woods after we did a bbq at the back of the house where we enjoyed it a lot. Highly recommended for sure we we go again .big thanks goes to Brigita the owner she's so nice 🤗

The lodge is beautiful,clean,you find everything as if you are at home. The internet is excellent 👍 The views and location are amazing. The heating system is great , the owner prepared wood for us so we can keep the house warm. We will come again. Highly recommended.
