All units have a satellite flat-screen TV. Some units include a dining area and/or balcony. All units feature a kitchen fitted with an oven and microwave. Every unit has a private bathroom with a bath. Some units share a picnic area with a grill, fire pit, and picnic table. It was a spur of the moment take off and stay somewhere for a night for my wife’s birthday. The owners were very nice and left a birthday card and a bottle of wine. The cabin was clean and cozy. These rustic-style Townsend Dancing Bear Lodge are located off US Highway 321 and feature a full kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, and private hot tub. Little River is 4 minutes’ walk away.

Many of the units have a separate seating area, sofa, and cable TV are included in each cabin. Dancing Bear Lodge extras include a full bathroom with a shower, towels, and linen in addition to daily housekeeping. Beautiful property nestled in nature. The hospitality was great as was our cabin.

Melissa and her team made this feel like home from home and the unexpected option for Chef Hayley to cook for you of an evening was an added bonus. Although we didn’t have time to use the spa, it looked amazing.

While staying at Riverside Econo Lodge, guests can fish for trout or enjoy the hotel’s picnic area on the banks of Little Pigeon River. The hotel serves continental breakfast and offers a games room. I have been coming to this hotel since back in the 90’s! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

The air-conditioned lodge consists of 4 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a coffee machine, and 4 bathrooms with a shower and a hot tub. Towels and bed linen are offered in the lodge. Room enough for the 8 of us. Each couple had a private bath. Great location.
