The location is out there, but that should be expected and known when you book! The island it is on is lovely to explore with beautiful coconut farms and river views. They do not rent motorbikes on the property, but I was able to rent one from down the road and use it during my time there. The property does have bikes for free usage though! The room is very large and there is a mosquito net over the bed, which is a welcome sight because it is set on a river in the woods, so insects are a natural byproduct. The staff were so lovely, they even drove me over an hour to my next stop so that I would not have to navigate two Grabs and a bus!

Providing free bicycle rentals, Mekong Lodge is a charming nature getaway surrounded by gardens and the Tien River. We loved our stay here. Beautiful location along the river, excellent pool facilities. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, welcoming and excellent. Organised a cake for my partner for his birthday which was greatly appreciated.

Staff were amazing and helpful Lovely location on the river and an opportunity to do a little fishing if you take your travel tackle. Pool was very nice

It’s a quiet and small Island with only boat transportation. This is a place to step away from the bustle and ground with your thoughts. The owners are lovely and gentle.
