Wild 5 is directly on the property for activities like zip line and wild swing. What made my stay unforgettable was the warm smiles and genuine hospitality of exceptionally friendly staff - Deline, Angel and Armstrong. For accommodation in Oribi Gorge, this is a perfect place.

We were lucky enough to see the Big 5 in breathtaking surroundings. The service was exceptional: spotless rooms, consistently kind and attentive staff, and delicious à la carte meals that exceeded expectations. It’s the perfect place for anyone seeking peace, excitement, and a deep connection with nature. But the real highlight of our stay was our guide, Zee. It was truly a privilege to meet and learn from him. Zee is incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much about the vegetation, the animals, and Zulu culture. Beyond his expertise, he stood out for his kindness, care, and dedication to every detail. He turned each game drive into something extraordinary and made our experience unforgettable. Set on the banks of the Tugela River, 22 km north of Winterton, Tugela River Lodge features self-catering accommodation 13 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve and 22 km from Winterton Museum. We loved this location - quaint, comfortable, and welcoming. The setting and the cabin were fabulous. Julian, our host was great. The cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and roomy, and the beds were comfortable. The wood-heated hot tub was fun. Guest could rent bikes, buy firewood, and 'shop' in the farm stall for fresh eggs, honey, wonderful homemade freezer meals, and much more There are several trails right out the front door that enable you to hike or mountain bike to a reserve with zebras and giraffes. We all wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks Julian!

Located in Botha’s Hill, within the Valley of 1000 Hills, Matusadona Guest Lodge offers a garden and outdoor pool. Durban is 28 km from the property. Free WiFi is available . The location was easy to find. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the pool was also spotlessly clean. They have a good Wi-Fi. The staff were extremely accommodating, warm and helpful (John and Panache), they made us feel at home and made sure we had everything we needed. John even went as far as helping us with our luggage on our arrival and when we leave, he also opened the kitchen for us after hours to warm our food and helped us with it. He is such an amazing person. Panache prepared the pool area for us to enjoy the view have a picnic. They provided a wonderful breakfast, they created a home away from home atmosphere. Everything was lovely and exactly as it is in the pictures.

Located in Mkuze, Mpeti Lodge offers family-friendly accommodation with access to a garden and a year-round an outdoor plunge pool. Everything was on point. Food was so delicious 😇
