The place is gorgeous. The rooms are extremely clean and nice, with AC and fridge. The shower is amazing ! There is a nice chilling area, a bar and a restaurant. The pool was our favorite place to be to cool down a bit when the sun hits too strong, it is huge, perfect temperature, good mix of shadow and sun. Ideal to swim or just as I did, read a book :) The place is nicely located, not in the heart of the hotel area, so it is quiet and peaceful, we had great nights there. There is a french bakery next to the hotel, serving delicious pastries and bread. Brandon and his mother are the nicest hosts you can hope for, they are flexible, easy to reach out to and will always do their best to make your stay nice. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, we ended up staying 4. We loved it here !

This location is unique, a 7 km gravel trip up through the mountains near Nicoya. The views to the ocean and mountains spectacular. The sunset unforgettable. Perfect service, cocktails, restaurant, all perfect. Chris and his colleagues were communicative, friendly and told lots of interesting stories. I will never forget my stay here, not like any other place. Truly a holy mountain.

My wife and I fell in love and it quickly rose up to be one of our best ever stays. The staff were attentive to our every need and personalized our stay beautifully. Breathtaking views from the room, restaurant, and all the hotel common places (even for the yoga classes!) as well as super friendly and welcoming staff. We particularly enjoyed the access to the Gilded Iguana surf club down at the beach (thanks to the hotel partnership), which made it very easy and comfortable to us to enjoy our surfing as well as the beach. Highly recommend Tierra Magnifica!! Would definitely go back

The staff at Hotel Guiones made my trip feel like home away from home. I stayed here solo but never felt lonely there. Alina in reception is amazing, from being so helpful making bookings for me before I even arrived, to greeting me with the warmest welcome when I arrived, to ensuring I had breakfast to take with me when I was leaving, she is gold! Jorge was a gem too, so kind and willing to help where he could. So friendly and even when I needed to change bookings it was never an issue. Thank you both! 🙏 Emmanuel is the restaurant was wonderful and so kind to help and encourage me with my Spanish learning. I’ve travelled around the world a lot but never have I met people that were so open, kind and welcoming. They truly made my stay so special! The location of this property is great, easy stroll to the beach, to all parts of town and just a short Tuk Tuk to La Luna (which I highly recommend for dining!) My room was beautiful and just as pictured, it was so clean, and airy. The coffee in the room was delicious! And there were really special moments of sitting in the hammock on my balcony watching the Iguana play or seeing the moon rise. Magic!
