Wonderful and breathtaking view of the Nile, a nice green territory with a pool, a spacious clean room, good breakfast, buffet or a la carte lunch is also available (for extra price), very friendly stuff at the reception. Not far from the Nubian Museum, Unfinished Obelisk and 15 min walk to the Corniche of Aswan, where you can experience an amazing felucca ride. The hotel kindly arranged for us 2 trips to Abu Simbel and to Luxor with three stops at Kom Ombo, Edfu and Esna temples with the private driver Mario. Mario is a super nice, English speaking, professional, confident and careful driver, he had a new, clean and comfortable car. Mario made our trips perfect, unforgettable and memorable. We had an interesting chat with him about Egypt, history and sights during our trip. We would recommend Mario and Basma Hotel to our friends!

Absolutely outstanding! This is a multi-storey house on Elephantine Island, Nubian style, where the host - Hamada and his family - live on the ground floor. There are multiple rooms for guests throughout the building. Breakfast is provided on the rooftop each morning, and there are views of the Aga Khan III Mausoleom directly opposite, as well as lovely views of the sand cliffs that lift up from the Nile. It's peaceful, it's beautiful, and it's away from the hustle and bustle of the Aswan side of the island. Hamada and his family are lovely! Hamada himself contacted me to arrange pickup from the ferry wharf even before we arrived, and transported us and our luggage to his home. During our stay, he helped us arrange transport to the wharf to get to Philae Temple, took us to Kitchener Island and the nearby dock for Tombs Of The Nobles on his motorboat, and made sure we got to the train station on time. The rooms are cosy, with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. The public ferry is 15 minutes walk from the guesthouse (it operates 6am - 12 midnight every day), and the island itself is fun to explore with multiple convenience stores and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Labib House!

Exceptional Service at The Zen Wellness Resort. I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Zen Wellness Resort and wanted to take a moment to highlight the outstanding service provided by several members of the team. First, a huge thank you to Ahmed, the restaurant manager, whose professionalism truly stood out. His attention to detail and dedication to ensuring guests have an excellent dining experience were much appreciated. A special shoutout to Mareena, the restaurant staff member, who went above and beyond to look after my niece. She made sure my niece was entertained and well cared for daily, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I would also like to thank Rukiya and the other gentleman (whose name I unfortunately cannot recall) for their exceptional housekeeping service. Our room was always spotless, and their attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Last but certainly not least, Rawan was an absolute gem. She assisted my family and me with everything, from checking in to arranging for us to stay in the same villa. Her kindness and efficiency made our stay so much more memorable. Thank you to everyone who made our experience at The Zen Wellness so wonderful. We’ll definitely be back!

We book a room at this hotel for one night stay prior our Nile Cruise. Our flight arrival time was 8:30 a.m. and I had ask the hotel if they had a storage room were we could leave our luggage while our room became available. The hotel reply was quick and accommodating. To our surprise, once we arrived at the hotel, they had a room ready for us. We were so exhausted and happy to find a place to lay our head. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The hotel and room was impeccable and very comfortable. We did not expect the amazing view and the closeness to the Nile River. There were a lot of food options for the breakfast buffet and their dinner blew us away. The best part about our stay was the support from the guest relations team. Prior to our trip, the guest relations team provided us with very prompt and helpful communication that helped us plan our time in Aswan. The whole booking process was easy and seamless. They helped us organized our transportation from the airport, our last minute day trip to the Temple Philae and the souk, and even provided us information on getting train tickets. ELagia, the Guest Relations Manager was available to us all the time. We felt like we were very well taken care during the entire time. The hospitality of the staff was superb. The location is further out from the city centre, but it was a positive because we got to experience the serenity away from the crowds. I would definitely this place to anyone, everyone.

The ship has beautiful wooden decks. The interior of the rooms is a bit old-fashioned, but it's well kept and clean. Our room was very quiet. The buffet was quite good, lots of choice and good quality. You also get to taste some local food.
