The Chateau / Castle is absolutely beautiful. The grounds, the interior and the quality of furniture and linen is outstanding. Such a once in a lifetime experience to stay in such a beautifully tastefully, romantically restored castle. The interior is gorgeous and very beautifully decorated. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. We had a wonderful time and were very comfortable during our stay. We were able to make our own food in the kitchen and enjoy the tranquility of the Chateau. The local area has so much to offer, swimming, Roman ruins, food, wine and pleasant towns to explore. Pat is the perfect host. He gave us wonderful information about the local area that we went to. He couldn’t have been more accommodating. He was kind, helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for just one night and booked it quickly without much research — but upon arrival, we were absolutely delighted with our choice. The drive to the hostel took us through charming French villages and beautiful vineyards, with breathtaking landscapes all along the way. When we arrived, we were amazed. The place is a cozy cabin in the woods, right by a lake, with all the necessary amenities. The grounds are well-kept and incredibly peaceful, with birds singing all around — a truly relaxing atmosphere. The staff was polite and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to come back for at least five days next time!
