All the kindness and help from Steve and Joseph!! All the extras in our room, including s dressing gown, slippers, lots of snacks, a small bottle of complimentary sparkling wine in our fridge, facecloths, shower cap, etc. Delicious cappuccinos and breakfasts made to order Steve dropped us off at the Harbour restaurants, so we didn't have to find parking on a busy Saturday night. It took us about 25 minutes to walk home, but we could have ordered a taxi Wonderful packed lunch of sandwiches to order, yummy cake, a banana and a naartjie, and a bottle of water for £5. Exceptional value!! The delicious slice of cake each day in our rooms for us to eat (with a list of ingredients used). Carrying our heavy bags into and out of our rooms for us Using their cars to 'book' a parking space for us in the road next to Garway Lodge, as the 3 places inside their grounds were already taken. Extensive number of brochures in the entrance hall and help with planning our days' outings

All the exquisite details. Room has everything you could possibly need or imagine. Garden is lovely. Breakfast was amazing and delicious. But most of all, Vince & Erwan, that are so caring and welcoming and make you feel as comfortable as at home. Alex and Stacey were very welcoming. I like that the B and B is owner run, as you often get much better service, We were supposed to stay for two nights, but our plans changed. They upgraded our room, as we had paid for two nights. There was a super comfortable king-size bed with a lovely warm duvet. The bathroom was really modern and the shower was lovely with nice hot water. There was a hairdryer which is important to me. There was a fridge in the room which is convenient. The wifi was excellent which is always important to guests. The breakfast was delicious, and they cooked a full English breakfast which we enjoyed. I loved the decor in the guesthouse and the house is very clean. I would recommend the B and B to anybody who likes a little personal attention. Hotels can be impersonal.

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Torquay. Vanessa is a wonderful host, very welcoming, friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy and comfortable. The room was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated and had a wonderful coffee station with biscuits and fresh milk daily. Would highly recommend to anyone, and will definitely book here again in the future.
