Breakfast was exceptional with local produce. Breakfast set menu was changed daily so we truly enjoyed varieties of dishes and tastes. 3. Establishment itself was historical especially that location.

This a favourite of ours. The staff are exceptional and the view is the most amazing we have seen in Japan. If you are looking for a great Ryokan experience in Japan then you can’t go past this little gem.

Loved the location, the room, the gym and the staff. It is an unusual hotel by Japanese standards, a converted convent beautifully converted. The staff went an extra mile to help us. Very convenient for the Glover gardens.

The rooms were spacious and clean and the view is amazing. We used the spa which was lovely and the pool and onsen are relaxing.
