From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel completely at home. Every member of the staff went out of their way to make our stay special — always kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. Traveling as a family, we especially appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating everyone was. The atmosphere was serene and inviting, and every detail seemed designed to ensure comfort and relaxation. Our room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The common areas were equally lovely — ideal for both moments of peace and time together as a family. Whether it was a kind gesture at breakfast or a friendly chat at reception, we felt seen, valued, and cared for, especially my 15 months old daughter! This was more than just a stay; it was an experience of true hospitality. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories. We can’t wait to come back — thank you for everything!

The rooms are beautiful, and the location is absolutely stunning — from both the rooms and the restaurant/pool area you have breathtaking views of the entire landscape. The proximity to Lion’s Rock and Pidurangala makes this place even more special, and the food was always excellent. We happened to be there during the floods caused by cyclone Ditwah, and the team went above and beyond to take care of us. When the roads became completely impassable — not even a jeep could get through — the staff made an incredible effort to reach us while we were stuck outside the resort grounds. They came on foot with flashlights and guided us safely back to the resort. It felt like an adventurous rescue, and seeing their relief when we finally arrived was truly heartwarming. They genuinely cared about our wellbeing during a rather stressful situation. Once back at the resort, we ended up having to extend our stay for three more nights due to the weather and flooding — and honestly, there couldn’t have been a better place to be stuck than this lovely hotel with its amazing people. Given the circumstances, the hotel owner even offered us a generous discount on the additional night rates, which we deeply appreciated. Genuinely some of the kindest hotel staff and hosts we’ve ever had the pleasure to encounter in all our travels. Overall, an unforgettable stay for many reasons — we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

We stayed there for a night and booked this location due to wonderful comments about its owner and location. And it is absolutely true. It is a small yet lovely hotel and also just 5 mins tuk tuk ride from the Sigiriya Rocks. Also very easily accessible to city center and restaurants. The owner is a fine gentleman and really friendly. We forgot our two bags and realised after we got call from hotel and we were around 20 kms away. The owner sent the bags via tuk tuk and did not accept cash for this extra effort done by them. We were really grateful to them.

This place is unbelievable. Unlimited luxury, great design, superb service, attentive and helpful staff. And very affordable. Great sport facilities. Probably, one of the best hotel pool with a view to kill you can imagine. Their cabins in the jungle are huge and super comfy.

It's the most luxurious place I've stayed in Sri Lanka, the facilities, hotel room and location outstanding. The staff is the most welcoming and one of the best services I've ever experienced. The restaurant, top quality food. Overall an amazing stay at a very well managed hotel.
