I chose the property as it was within walking distance of the railway station. We arrived in the morning and the proprietor was able to give us our room early. When we departed, his wife kindly drove us to the railway station as it was raining.

New units. With everything you need. Automated self check-in system was great. Beds were very comfortable. Very quiet. Good location, near small park for children to play. Great communication from the owner by text. Highly recommended.

We loved it here! Just outside the center of Kaikoura, only 5 minutes from the whale watch. A beautiful garden and a perfect place to relax. There’s even a guest herb garden that we made use of. Jen, thank you for everything, including your great tips for the drive from Kaikoura to Richmond!

The views were stunning, complete privacy and relaxation. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. Definitely follow advice of taking a small bag, we were glad we didn’t take all of our luggage. Just beautiful.
