We lived in a ground floor apartment for eight nights and had a great time. The apartment has the amenities needed to make food and is generally nice and practical. The gym is decent and the jacuzzi is amazing. The apartment is located in a quiet area. If we come back to Sao Miguel we will definitely come back to this place. Parking is easy with private spots. The staff was great as well.

This hotel is a design jewel located almost halfway between Ponta Delgada and Lagoa, hence perfect for day excursions in São Miguel island. What makes this hotel so special is the meticulous and design-conscious use of local materials in a rough way (wabi-sabi). Everything in this hotel has high quality, the materials and the food to mention a few. What I liked the most in this hotel is the professionalism of the staff, yet so uncomplicated, light and easy-going. The room service was exceptionally good. Even the trainee at the reception, although in her third day, was doing great. General Manager Joao Almeida, congratulations for the great job training your team and providing your guests with the best service possible. The room was spacy, the beds comfortable. The pool is not heated but there is a heated Jacuzzi which I used every night before going to bed. That wasn't a problem for me. This hotel is one of the best I ever had and by far the best one I had in the Azores.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Gorgeous setting, fantastic facilities (especially the spa and pool). The restaurant does excellent food and the bar is great. The staff were all amazing, and the service provided was faultless.

Everything was really beyond our expectations. The staff was really helpful, everything was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The cleaning was superb as well, they cleaned our apartment every few days like they would for the next person. We had plenty of parking spots too, and the private sauna was truly enjoyable!

Everything was perfect during our stay. The staff are particularly friendly especially to our little pup Bruno. He had so much fun running around the hotel and the lobby saying hi to everybody. The hotel is definitely the best in the entire island.

the house was very well put together, the swimming pool and hot tub were fantastic and very clean. There were loungers around the pool and plenty of outside seating. there was a welcome basket of local foods on arrival which was appreciated. The BBQ area and outside gazebo were great. The rooms were very clean and we really appreciated the towels provided for the swimming pool. the washing machine was handy and was put to use. Overall a brilliant house to rent for a large group of friends and I would definitely consider going back.
