The impreccable service offered when booking restaurants or needing instructions on routes and calling cabs on my behalf. We spent our honeymoon at this beautiful hotel, and it was the perfect choice. They prepared a lovely room for us. We had an amazing view and a spacious, comfortable bedroom. The location was ideal — just a short walk to the center of Funchal.

Everything was elegant and top quality, so much attention to detail that made our stay feel so luxurious. We had a suite with garden access, with a large veranda area. The whole suite was very spacious and very comfortable. Service and support was top notch! Breakfast views from the Avista restaurant are stunning. The food was excellent, and we would highly recommend having lunch and dinner there if time allows. We had access to the facilities of the Cliff Bay hotel next door, wish we had more time to make full use of everything on offer!

Perfect location in the centre of Funchal, but very quiet surroundings. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of fresh food, also made on request. A lot of local fresh fruits. Extremely helpful personnel. Goncalo recommended us several places to eat and enjoy Funchal - all of them were just great for us. Well equipped spa. We also had a massage in the hotel. Good bar on the ground floor. We did not have time to enjoy the pool bar on the roof. We made a reservation for 2 nights, but finally we have stayed 7 nights. Unforgettable stay.
