We stayed at Maharaja Hotel in Zanzibar and the experience exceeded all expectations! We chose the beachfront villa with a jacuzzi (not heated), and the breathtaking view together with the perfect location right on the shore felt like paradise. The hotel is spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and very well maintained, creating a truly relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. Anastasia and the entire team were simply wonderful – kind, professional, and always with a smile – and made us want to stay even longer. A dream vacation we would love to return to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a mix of beauty, tranquility, and top-quality service!

The hotel is excellent. Good facilities, well located. We were very well received and we were given access to the room at 9am, when we were supposed to only be able to access the room after 2pm. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is very good. It was already my second time in Zanzibar and it was the best, without a doubt. I highly recommend this hotel. I will come back.

We stayed at the hotel for a week. Very beautiful little hotel. Newly renovated. Spotless clean. Nice and quiet. Staff very attentative and kind. Delicious breakfast. Great cocktails. We got free upgrade the two last days.

Beautiful small Boutique Hotel with outstanding service. I felt extremly welcome and appreciated. The food was lovingly prepared and fresh. This is an amazing spot. We had a fabulous visit and look forward to returning. The bungalows are spacious, private and very nice inside. The food and drink options are very good and vary enough day to day, and the pool and setting is just lovely. I didn’t actually visit the nearby beach as we’re happy by the pool and lagoon, but maybe next time! The main thing to compliment though is the staff, they are faultless in their service and friendliness. We would very highly recommend this resort for a properly relaxing time in Zanzibar :-)

The lunch and dinner were amazing. I enjoyed every dish. Compliments to the chef! The room was beautiful, and the staff was so caring. The drinks were great but could be a little stronger (just me).
